#linktober #the legend of zelda #four swords #shadow link #loz #loz fs #linktober 2024 #josh art tag #gonna be doing a handful of days of Linktober (hopefully)!!#only some days cuz 1) ive literally never done all 31 days of an october art challenge and 2) i dont have ideas for every prompt #anyway pls read the four swords adventures manga #i am a changed person after that #i am shadow links biggest fan if shadow has no fans i am dead #that manga makes me really want dark/shadow link to be truly relevant to a zelda game....#like yeah dark link is an enemy sometimes #but as far as im aware the most relevant a dark/shadow link has ever been is in four swords adventures #and he wasnt even a character he was just a reoccuring enemy that showed up a lot i think #its sad that of all games its four swords that does the most with shadow link as a concept (again as far as im aware)#so yeah the manga is great cuz it made shadow a character #and it makes me want to have a zelda game where we somehow make an ally out of a shadow link

He is a great character and so much fun to draw.#Great comedic straight man while also having some really hard hitting emotional moments.#I think he needs a union mandated vacation after this dungeon expedition -and a drink with an umbrella in it.#Veering off topic for a moment:#I started drawing this at the same time as the Dragon comic (I had chilchuck brainrot)#and since then two of my dungeon meshi comics have hit over 10k notes. #the evolution in halsey’s music is what i expected from solo harry #i’ve been listening to her so much this past week or two and well. i’ve been thinking #obviously i think she’s a great artist. and the more i time i spend thinking abt it the more strongly i believe this #she’s giving me what i wanted harry styles to give me #and there’s a case to be made about artistic integrity vs art for the sake of capitalistic gain #which is where i think they primarily diverge #because with hs1 there was no real guarantee of success. commercial or critical #there was an existing (pop) fan base but none of us knew what he’d give us and whether we’d like it (enough to chart it anyway)#debuting with a 6 min rock ballad was a ballsy move and it remains one of his best work for a reason #hs1 as a body of songs will survive the test of time for a reason #it set fine line up for success with the average fan. and then he sold his soul to the devil with album 3 #halsey has been on a completely different trajectory #with every album she caters less and less to critics and makes the art she Wants to make. tells the story she Wants to tell #she stopped chasing the charts a long long time and it shows in her writing!#anyway. if u get it then u get it and if you don’t then u dont #seedpost
